Rescheduled Land-use event part of free workshop week

Rescheduled due to the Ash Tree outbreak, ICARB’s ‘Carbon Accounting and Land-use’ workshop will now take place as part of a week of free workshops in February.

The event, held in collaboration with the Forestry Commission Scotland, will take place at the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation. Contributions will also come from Carbon Accounting for Land Managers; the Scottish Agricultural College; Accounting for Peat; and I-CARN.

The full suite of events is as follows:

Carbon Accounting and Land-use: is it possible to have an integrated land-use planning tool for Scotland?
Revised date and location: Tuesday 5 Feb 2013, 1-5 pm

Accounting for tourism: alignment across scales and boundaries
Wednesday 6 Feb 2013, 11am – 1 pm

Accounting for low carbon communities
Wednesday 6 Feb 2013, 2 – 4 pm

All workshops will be held at Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, 15 South College Street, Edinburgh EH8 9AA.

The events are free but you must register at the links above, where you will also be invited to contribute to our pre-workshop questionnaire to inform the workshops.

Reports from all three workshops will be taken forward to the International Conference on Carbon Accounting in 2013
