A new organisation is being formed in Ireland to bring together and harmonise work on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).

Their first meeting was a great success with 25 participants from academia, public and the private sector.

The group is being run by Professor Nick Holden (UCD Dublin) and Dr Anne Morrissey (Dublin City University), pictured, with Tom Oldfield (Renetech) and will be meeting again in October.

ICARB is keen to build links with organisations around the world working to acurately assess of environmental problems and hope to stay in close contact with the group.
